Size in inches.

Small-framed cattle are classified into three size tiers: Midsize, Miniature, and Micro. Their tier is determined by their height in inches at maturity. They are measured from their top line above their hip’s hook to the ground.

Size in months.

We track their growth over the months to monitor their development and ensure they are meeting growth milestones appropriate for their age and breed. We want our animals to reach their full potential.

Coat Color.

This table shows the expected phenotype based on the various possible genotype combinations of these two genes. It is important to note that other, yet unknown, genes may influence the resulting coat color observed and the animal may have a different phenotype than what is predicted by the Extension and Dilution genotypes alone. - UC Davis Veterinary Medicine
